I really liked the whole concept of the cafe. It was cute and got you to relax and be artistic. My one complaint would be that service needs to be improved. It took over 15 min just to have someone explain to us how the clay cafe works. And then it took an additional 20-25 mins to get someone to take our food and drink order. And that was me flashing down 3 different people to ask for assistance. Mind you it was not full, and the servers would huddle up to talk with each other in the meantime. Once the food came, it was absolutely delicious though!

My first time to Clay Cafe Montana and I loved it! Atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing time out and it absolutely soothed my creative soul. Perfect outing for any age. My 13yo, as well as my friend 5yo, both thoroughly enjoyed it. Food and drinks are served by the neighbouring Green Olive restaurant - the pizzas are fabulous! It certainly won't be my last visit!

A very relaxed and artistic vibe. Some of the items are ridiculously expensive but the experience is worth it. Even though it's not really a place for toddlers, my son enjoyed painting his dinosaur. The milkshake form green olive was out of this world and the toasted sandwich from the red truck really had a lot of filling.

The place has a relaxed atmosphere with a live band playing while we were there. The chicken burger I ordered was bland and had no flavour but everything else about the place was enjoyable. R400 should get you a decent meal for 2 . The staff was friendly ,willong to assist newbies and the items you can paint range from R90 (a small scoucer) to about a thousand rand for the largest items. I would recommend the place.
